If something is not right, we want a clear opportunity to put it right.
1. Tell us what happened
Contact RyanR Decorating Services by calling 07931 093252, sending a WhatsApp Ryan message, emailing ryanrdecoratingservices@gmail.com, or writing to 104 Greenfield Avenue, Northampton, NN3 2BB. Include your name, quotation reference, the work involved, what went wrong and the outcome you are seeking. Photographs can help, but are not a condition of raising a complaint. Do not send sensitive information that is unnecessary.
A missing reference or receipt does not automatically prevent you using your rights. The enquiry builder does not itself submit a complaint: use the contact details above.
2. We will investigate
Our proposed service standard is to acknowledge complaints within five working days and aim to provide a substantive response within 14 calendar days. If we need longer, we will explain why and give an update date. These are response targets, not deadlines cutting off your rights.
We may agree a reasonable inspection visit and discuss whether correction, repeat performance, a price reduction or another remedy is appropriate. We will not charge to correct work where consumer law requires a free remedy. No complaint is automatically rejected because an invoice was paid or a final inspection took place.
3. Your consumer rights
Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Where legally required, repeat performance must be within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. If it is impossible or not provided as required, a price reduction may be due. Other remedies can also apply.
This procedure does not replace your statutory rights, require you to accept a discretionary guarantee instead, or require you to wait where urgent action is needed to avoid harm or preserve a legal deadline.
4. If we cannot resolve it
We will explain our final position and, where applicable, provide details of a competent alternative dispute resolution body and state whether we are obliged or willing to use it. No membership of a trade body or ADR scheme is currently claimed. We do not promise a particular scheme until eligibility and participation are confirmed.
You can obtain independent consumer advice from Citizens Advice and consider available court remedies. Nothing here requires compulsory arbitration or prevents you making a claim.
Cancelling rather than complaining?
See our cancellation rights and form. A statutory change-of-mind cancellation is separate from a complaint about defective work.
